For Banrisul’s Sustainability Report construction, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards are utilized since 2021. They are designed to help organizations communicate the impacts of their sustainability initiatives. These standards are applicable to institutions operating in different industries, guiding and standardizing the reports, enabling a simple comparison between them.
In addition, the GRI has some sectoral indicators of the G4 standard. In this sense, some Financial Services indicators, specific for financial institutions, were used, seeking to enrich the report.
For the 2021 cycle, the indicators were reported in accordance with the GRI standards. The topic disclosures can be found here, while the general disclosures and those for the management of material topics are available in the Sustainability Report by clicking here.
For 2022, the scope of reporting with reference to the GRI standards was adopted, and all the disclosures can be found here.
