Innovation and technology GRI 3: Material topics 2021 Notable positive impacts are digital transformation, optimization and efficiency of processes, expansion of direct distribution of products, promotion of digital inclusion, support for events and organizations that foster innovation, funding for innovative projects, and expansion of innovative solutions for sustainability, which strengthen competitiveness, operational efficiency, access to services, as well as social and environmental benefits. Notable among these are increased trust, customer loyalty, and adoption of digital solutions through products and services with greater security. On the other hand, negative impacts include technological failures that compromise system operations, unavailability of systems, failures in computer architecture, customer dissatisfaction or loss, as well as risks of increased fraud and loss of security certifications, which can affect results, reputation, and stakeholder confidence if not adequately prevented and managed.
