This is a United Nations (UN) initiative that seeks to encourage companies to contribute to society’s challenges by aligning their strategy with the Ten Universal Principles, which cover the areas of Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
The Global Compact Brazil Network was created in 2003 and is the second largest local network in the world, with more than 1,900 participants, including Banrisul, which has been a signatory since 2013.
